The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Li Jiachao, has approved Tang Jiacheng as chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX). The term takes effect immediately. The approval was made under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571). Tang Jiacheng's term as chairman is the same as his term as a member of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's board of directorsezbaccarattable, will expire after the conclusion of the 2025 annual general meeting of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
