Li Jiachao approves Tang Jiacheng as chairman of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange Securities Times e Company News According to a press release of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR, Li Jiachao has approved Tang Jiacheng as chairman of the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Co., Ltd.(HKEX). The term takes effect immediately. The approval was made under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571). Tang Jiacheng's term of office as chairman is the same as his term as a member of the board of directors of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, and both will expire after the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
